Trans Inclusion Statement

Mimosa House stands in solidarity with trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people.

We recognise that recent developments in the UK will cause fear, uncertainty, and distress for trans communities and those who love and support them. 

We want to be clear about our position: trans people have the right to live safely, with dignity, autonomy, and access to care, culture, and public life.

As a non-profit art institution primarily supporting women and queer artists, Mimosa House acknowledges that artists and cultural institutions do not exist separately from the social and political conditions around them.

We remain dedicated to providing an inclusive and respectful space for trans artists, audiences, and staff.
